Host your child’s birthday with an unforgettable party! Celebrate with our onsite shelter event featuring an adoptable meet & greet and a behind-the-scenes tour. Kids will enjoy fun activities like temporary tattoos, coloring, and interactive play.

We open booking for parties at select times throughout the year. Once open, requests are accepted on a rolling basis and scheduled until all available spots are filled.
We are fully booked for June & July. Please join our newsletter to hear about future event announcements & availability.

Event Details
Location: AHS Auditorium
Scheduling: Select Saturdays at 10:30 AM
*Please note we do not host parties on other days of the week.
Each AHS birthday party includes:
- Behind-the-scenes tour of the Austin Humane Society (15+ minutes)
- Adoptable animal meet & greet (30 minutes)
- Cake, gifts, and free play (45+ minutes)
Our staff lead slow, gentle introductions which safely socializes rescue dogs and cats to children. Kids will meet 1-2 animals per visit. Subject to shelter availability.Please note: We don’t offer meet and greets with both dogs and cats at this time due to limited staffing capacity.
