Things are about to get ugly, in an adorable way. It’s time for Jo’s 6th Annual Ugly Dog Contest! Does your furry friend have an interesting aesthetic that you just couldn’t resist? Do you think you and your dog look-a-like? Or are you totally obsessed with all things costumes? If you said yes to any of the above – then we want you! Join us for the 6th Annual Jo’s Ugly Dog Contest on October 29th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Each winner will win big prizes and, better yet, all funds raised will go to help rescue animals at the Austin Humane Society.

Just want to come out and be a spectator? Join us for hot dogs, live music, balloon animals, face painting, paw-some vendors and an adoption event hosted by AHS. The fun starts at 12 p.m. and the runway show will begin at 1:30 p.m. Vote early and often for your favorite contestant at Jo’s Red River starting Oct. 16th. Votes are $2 apiece and all proceeds go back to AHS.
