Things are about to get ugly in a very, very adorable way. It’s time for Jo’s 6th Annual Ugly Dog Contest at Jo’s Red River.
Does your furry friend have an interesting aesthetic that you just couldn’t resist? Do you think you and your dog look-a-like? Is your pup the best in town? Or are you totally obsessed with all things costumes? If you said yes to any of the above – then we want you! Join us for the 6th Annual Jo’s Ugly Dog Contest on Sunday, Oct. 29th from 12 – 3 p.m. Each winner will win big prizes and, better yet, all funds raised will go to help rescue animals at the Austin Humane Society.
HOW IT WORKS:
? If your pup’s looks are a little “ruff”, you can submit them online (link below), at $10 per entry ($15 day-of), for one of 4 categories: Ugliest Dog, Best Costume, Best in Show, or Doggelganger.
⭐️ Dogtestant photos for all categories will be on display at Jo’s Coffee Red River location from October 16th-28th. You can vote for your favorites at the register for $2 a pop.
? On Sunday, October 29th, join us at Jo’s Red River from 12 – 3 PM to see the finalists in person, put in those last-minute votes and enjoy a parking lot party full of adoptable pups, local vendors, live music, hot dogs, face-painting, and balloon animals.
And don’t forget, the pawsitively best part about all of this is that all funds raised from entries and votes go straight to our friends at Austin Humane Society!
