Join AHS at the Bullock Museum during Spring Break on March 16th for a showing of Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey celebrating the great American outdoors!

AHS will be onsite from 11 am – 12:30 pm with some adoptable pups and information about our Humane Heroes programs and then you can head insited the Texas Spirit Theater to watch the family film classic Homeward Bound. After the film head up to the second floor lobby from 2 – 3:30 pm for a fun drop-in activity celebrating the film.

The Spring Break at the Bullock class series is paired with Art of Texas State Parks, a special exhibition that celebrates the Texas State Park System’s 100-year history. In celebration of its centennial, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has commissioned Texan artists to paint scenes from their parks. Thirty artists were tasked with exploring and painting 65 parks, natural areas, and historic sites in the state park system. The selection of 34 paintings on view are as varied as the parks themselves and offer a snapshot of Texas’s ecosystems and history.ni
