Head over to BookPeople for a special storytime event with KXAN’s mascot Kaxan, weathercaster Jim Spencer, dog trainer Edward Flores and Austin Humane Society! Local author Olga Vilkotskaya will read her book “Becoming Kaxan” about Kaxan’s journey from rescue pup to therapy dog & star or the station. There will be books available for sale to be signed by the author. Pet some puppies, hear some stories and take home a craft!
