The Austin Humane Society’s beloved Puppy Bowl is back and better than ever in 2026! The 19th annual event, presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B, will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the AHS shelter (124 W. Anderson Lane). It will be an epic day of delicious tailgate bites, puppy races, Super Bowl puppy predictions, and pet adoptions.

Puppy Bowl is free to attend, or you can upgrade your experience with our V.I.P. (Very Important Puppy-fan) pass, which comes with a commemorative t-shirt, drink pass, and entry to the Tailgate Food Competition where you’ll get to taste every competitor’s tailgate bite and help crown the winner. All proceeds will benefit animals in need!

After the event the fun will continue all weekend at Yard Bar (6700 Burnet Road) for the unofficial after party! For more information follow Yard Bar for more details.

· More than 800 people attended our 2025 Puppy Bowl. During the event we held puppy races, picked an M.V.P., crowned a winner for our 6th Annual Tailgate Competition (Micklethwait Barbecue) and celebrated our halftime show with a big donation from our partners at Heritage Ranch by H-E-B.

· We raised over $50,000 for our animals in need at AHS.

· The fun continued that afternoon at Yard Bar with overtime play at Puppy Bowl LIVE.

· UT Texas Longhorn football players attended and helped MC the event!
