Are You Ready for Some Football?

The Austin Humane Society’s beloved Puppy Bowl is back and better than ever in 2024! The 17th annual event, presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B, will be held on Saturday, February 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the AHS shelter (124 W. Anderson Lane).

Our 17th Annual Puppy Bowl will be an epic day of delicious tailgate bites, puppy races, Super Bowl puppy predictions, pet adoptions, all wrapping up with Puppy Bowl LIVE! at Yard Bar. The fun starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Austin Humane Society with adorable adoptables, vendors, a Kid Zone, great eats, and our 6th Annual Tailgate Competition. Puppy Bowl is free to attend, or you can upgrade your experience with our V.I.P. (Very Important Puppy-fan) pass, which comes with a commemorative Puppy Bowl t-shirt and tote, 1 drink ticket, and entry into the 6th Annual Tailgate Food Competition, where you’ll get to taste every competitor’s tailgate bite and help crown the winner. Or, you can purchase a Tailgate Tasting Ticket for just $10. All proceeds will benefit animals in need!

Want to be a part of our 6th Annual Tailgate Food Competition? This year’s competition is bigger and better than ever! Participants are challenged to put out their best bite, and tailgaters will decide who should be named top dog. Each competitor is asked to provide 350 bites and be on-site for the competition from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 10th. The winner will be crowned at 1:30 p.m. and will have their name and logo proudly displayed on an AHS kennel through our Adopt a Kennel program (a $2,500 value).
