The Austin Humane Society Building Compassion Capital Campaign

For 70 years, the Austin Humane Society has been providing lifesaving services and programs throughout Central Texas through Adoption Programs, Spay and Neuter Programs, Disaster Response, Community Outreach and Community Partnerships. And thanks to wonderful supporters like you, AHS is able to provide the highest quality of care and services to over 10,000 animals each year.

Unfortunately, although Austin celebrates being a national leader in no-kill, it has been an uphill battle and a constant struggle for our community to maintain. Sadly, communities right outside of Austin are still euthanizing healthy, adoptable pets who need our help.

The Austin Humane Society Building Compassion Capital Campaign answers the call of our community with a purpose-built campus dedicated to growing and delivering the critical programs and services that are desperately needed.

The time is now. We need to expand – and we need to do it now. We need to fight to keep Austin no-kill and we need to fight to save the lives of animals being euthanized just miles outside Austin’s no-kill zone. We need to grow our spay/neuter programs to stay ahead of the numbers and share our expertise to help other communities achieve no-kill. And we need to engage, educate, and empower more animal lovers to be a part of the solution.

Life is precious. The work we do together today will save the lives of countless animals for years to come. We hope you will join us as we work toward the future of AHS – stay tuned for information on site tours and more at our future campus!
