The Austin Humane Society’s beloved Puppy Bowl is back and better than ever in 2023! The 16th annual event, presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B, will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the AHS shelter (124 W. Anderson Lane).

Our 16th Annual Puppy Bowl will be an epic day of delicious tailgate bites, puppy races, Super Bowl puppy predictions, pet adoptions, and Puppy Bowl LIVE! The fun starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Austin Humane Society with adorable adoptables, vendors, a Kid Zone and family fun, great eats, and our 5th Annual Tailgate Competition. Puppy Bowl is free to attend, or you can upgrade your experience with our V.I.P. (Very Important Puppy-fan) pass, which comes with a swag bag, a commemorative Puppy Bowl t-shirt, drink ticket, and entry into the 5th Annual Tailgate Food Competition, where you’ll get to taste every competitor’s tailgate bite and help crown the winner.

This year, we’re also offering a V.I.P. Jr. pass, for our animal lovers 12 and under, which comes with a t-shirt, swag bag, and goodies. Or, you can purchase a Tailgate Tasting Ticket for just $10. All proceeds will benefit animals in need!
