This 6-year-old terrier mix has already proven he's one tough cookie. After surviving a car accident and a full hip surgery recovery, Tobi hasn't let life's hard knocks dim his spirit one bit. These days, you're more likely to find him cuddled up in your lap than worrying about the past. Tobi is a bonafide snuggler who forms deep, loyal bonds with the people who show him kindness - and once he's decided you're his person, consider yourself chosen for life. He does like to take things at his own pace when meeting new faces, but a little patience and a tasty treat go a long way, and he tends to warm up faster than you'd expect.

Tobi is looking for a calm, loving home where he can truly shine. He'd thrive as the solo dog - or alongside a well-matched small canine companion - and he's shown he can coexist peacefully with cats, approaching them with curiosity but never pushiness (three feline roommates can vouch for him). He's a fan of squeaky toys, car rides with the window down, and hanging out with older kids who match his gentle energy.
