Hello, Charlie here! You would never guess it by my smile and always-wagging tail, but coming to AHS was actually the fresh start I desperately needed. I've finally gotten basic medical care, grooming, great meals, and of course made so many friends! I get along with everyone I meet including other dogs. I'm housetrained, an expert cuddler, and up for learning anything in exchange for a treat or two! I can't wait to be someone's companion. I have so much love to give my future family! I'm eligible for the option to take me home for a few days before making a final adoption decision. That would be so much fun! Hurry over right away and ask for Charlie!

To Sponsor a Pet, you can click on the “Sponsor Me” button in the animal’s profile, or visit our Sponsor a Pet page for all the info!
Do I need to make an appointment to visit?
Appointments are not required or offered. Adoptions are completed in person on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to start the adoption process, please stop by the shelter during business hours. We cannot make guarantees on the availability of specific animals in advance.
